This long-term project has generated several multimedia programs on the topic of the ancient Indian earthworks of the Ohio River Valley. Computer models of earthwork sites become the starting points for Interactive Video Navigation (IVN) for learning more about the monuments and the cultures which created them. EarthWorks programs are showing in Ohio museums at Hopewell Culture National Historical Park, Fort Ancient, Newark, and the Cincinnati Museum Center. CD-ROM take-home versions of those programs are currently being published; an overall traveling exhibit and accompanying DVD-ROM are in production. Visit www.earthworks.uc.edu for more information.
Now available as a CD-ROM: EarthWorks: Virtual Explorations of Ancient Newark Ohio
The EarthWorks Traveling Exhibit is currently on view at the East Kentucky Science Center, Prestonburg, KY through May 20, 2007. Extended Travel Schedule.
