Take the tour of Troy VII

The people of Troy VII had to rebuild their city after a catastrophe. See how they continued the life of their community despite fears of another misfortune, and how they might even have asked the gods for help!

Troy VII is another transitional period, from Bronze Age to Iron Age. The form of the city changes and so does the population-- but not always at the same time! This creates a real puzzle for the archaeologists. One fact emerging from recent study: Troy VII was probably dryer and colder than both Troy VI and Troy VIII.
